CMFN Pastoral Courses provide faith and leadership development especially designed for Spanish-speaking migrant workers and rural immigrants in the U.S. Courses are led by a team of CMFN facilitators in partnership with local parish and diocesan leaders. Each course typically lasts one weekend and actively engages 30-50 participants. CMFN offers two levels of Pastoral Leadership Courses. Please Contact CMFN for more information, or to inquire about hosting a Pastoral Course in your community.
Level One: Invitation to Theological Reflection, prayer, group Bible study, models for small grassroots communities, styles of leadership, communication skills, and Catholic Social Teaching with a special focus on migration and immigrants’ rights.
Level Two: Further exploration of leadership skills, mentoring for grassroots leaders, mapping our communities, and tools for collaboration among immigrants, outreach leaders and pastoral agents for evangelization and community service referrals.
