The Run for Farmworkers
Great News! CMFN has over 40 people participating in the Lansing, Chicago, Detroit and Miami marathons. They’re moving towards reaching their fundraising goal of a minimum of $100 per person so it’s not too late to make your donation.
Migrant farmworkers, constantly on the move between isolated rural areas, are nearly invisible in our society and in our Church. CMFN brings Bishops and catechists to hear their stories and share the teachings of the faith. The Network connects those who minister to migrants across the U.S., forms welcoming church communities, and advocates for social justice, dignity and respect.
Our runners believe so much in this mission that they are running in four marathons in different cities across the nation. Some will run the full marathon, some, the half marathon, some, the marathon relay and still others in the 5K
Their goal is to raise $5,000 for CMFN. They and CMFN need your support.
